One of my kids favorite places to go is to the sand dunes. They can be a sandy dirty mess and no one cares! Even though we find sand in places we never know we had. Some fun things we do there is go on sand rail rides kids sometimes get scared so its not there favorite thing to do. We also take the kids to find a perfect sandy mountain that they can climb and slide back down again. Evan and Brett could do this all day. Also we have found that a shovel is a necessity st the dunes. For what you might ask. Digging big sand pits for the kids to play in. Also a favorite of the kids things to do. Keeps them entertained for hours on end. We always wind down the day with a fire and smores. Then we retire to the trailer to wash the sand out of our cracks and watch movies!
